blue whale

Balaenoptera musculus better known as the blue whale, is the largest animal known to man kind yet! It feeds on krill a small crustacean. Now you must be wondering how such a big animal could live on such a tiny animal, well the whale consumes so much of the krill per day, that they can live entirely on it. Before it was protected in 1966, the number of whales decreased rapidly. we should respect these wonderful forms of life, and realize how lucky we are to be able to live in a world with them as well as all forms of life.

The Coyote

The coyote, or canis latrans, also called the american jackal or prairie wolf, is a species of canid. 90% of their diet is mammals, like mice and squirrels, but they will eat other animals such as birds and snakes. Coyotes are only found in Central and North America and are very common. Coyotes sometimes breed with domesticated dogs, making the hybrid violent like a coyote and not shy around human beings like a dog. Coyotes are known to be evil, scary animals. They share many qualities with other dogs.

Cheetah

The cheetah is one of the most amazing animals on this planet. Also known as Acinonyx jubatus, is not able to climb very well though it can reach speeds from 70-75 mph. While only able to sprint at these speeds for a short time, it remains the world's fastest land animal. What's more, it can accelerate from 0 to 64 mph in 3 seconds! While the cheetah continues to amaze us, its species is dying out. We must work together to save the cheetah and all the other animals that need our help.

Sea wasp

Chironex fleckeri or the sea wasp jellyfish is one of the most deadly jellyfish in the world.
Also known as the box jellyfish, it lives in Australia, New Guinea, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The sea wasp has tentacles up to 9.8 ft. long, and there are 15 of them. When you get stung, there is extreme pain followed by a burning feeling, and it can kill you in around 3 minutes without proper treatment. One way of treating a sting is by putting vinegar on it. Alcohol actually helps speed up the process of killing you.
